Jim and Linda Allison offer a warm welcome at their home Little Carron Cottage.
This charming cottage which dates from around 1800 and is situated on the western side of town just over a mile from the town centre.
The cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests. There are 2 ground floor suites - Swilcan and Eden. The Swilcan suite has a double/twin bedroom, a shower room, a private lounge and a compact kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine and tumbler dryer. It has a separate entrance and it can also be booked for self-catering. The Eden suite has a double bedroom, ensuite shower room and a spacious private lounge with patio doors to the garden. The two suites have an adjoining door making it a very spacious area for parties of 4.
Upstairs is the Kinness room, a double/twin ensuite bedroom.
There is a minimum stay of 2 nights from May-September. One night bookings are sometimes available but can only be booked up to a week ahead.
There is parking available at the cottage for 3 cars. The cottage has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy. Opposite the cottage is the entrance to Lade Braes, a beautiful 20-25 minute riverside walk in to town.
